Mark Poole and Randy Scherer, educators from High Tech High School (HTH) in San Diego, recently spent two days in Sacramento to share the story of HTH with CRANE teachers and staff. The first day consisted of a professional development workshop where over 100 educators from our region participated in the event. Participants learned unique strategies for engaging and educating students.

The second day Mark, Randy and members of the CRANE team visited CRANE pathway programs at four schools: Foothill High School (Health), Granite Bay High School (ICT), Liberty Ranch High School (Ag), and Sylvan Middle School (Construction). Pathway teams got some great one-on-one time where Mark and Randy shared best practices, implementation strategies and activities for project-based learning.
